Goat Project
Purpose: The purpose of the Sheboygan County 4-H Goat Project is to provide educational opportunities for
youth to learn more about goats. These opportunities are provided through monthly county-wide hands-on
workshops and seminars.
Opportunities in 4-H Goat Project:
- Selection of a quality goat
- Maintaining a healthy animal
- Learning about the various breeds and purposes of each breed
- Participation in showing at State, County and Open Shows

- Wisconsin State Fair Jr. Livestock Entry forms and information (due June 22nd to UWEX Office)
- Animal Premise Identification Is Required The Wisconsin Premises Registration Act requires anyone who keeps, houses, or comingles livestock to register their premises. Premises that are not currently licensed by the Wisconsin DATCP are required to register according to state law. For more information please visit the Wisconsin Livestock Identification Consortium
