WORKING WITH COMMUNITIES, ORGANIZATIONS, AND CITIZENS
Community, Natural Resource, and Economic Development (CNRED) educators throughout Wisconsin help..

  • Communities deal with their unique challenges, including resource constraints, business development, land use issues, environmental protection, quality of life, and more.
  • Organizations strategically plan for their futures, while ensuring adequate resources for their current challenges
  • Citizens be informed about issues and find opportunities to contribute in the local decision-making process.

Currently, the Sheboygan County CNRED position is vacant.  The previous CNRED educator, David Such, focused on community planning, groundwater and surface water education, well water testing, strategic planning for non-profits, and facilitation for local economic development entities. It is anticipated that the future CNRED educator will likely continue these and/or similar programs.
