Project Day is an exciting, fun-filled day with a variety of workshops for 4-H members to learn new skills and make items they can enter in the fair, or make just for fun!
Music and Drama Festival
Saturday, April 21, 2018
County 4-H Music and Drama Festival is an annual day long event featuring music and drama presentations by 4-H clubs throughout the county. Performances are critiqued by local 4-H judges and recognized with certificates, ribbons, and special awards.
Upham Woods, WI
July 14th – 18th, 2018
The Sheboygan County 4-H Camp is held in the summer at Upham Woods (the State 4-H Camp near Wisconsin Dells). The camp is held for four days and three nights. Base camp is offered to 4-H members ages 8 to 12 years old; outpost camping is available for 4-H members 13 years old and older. Older 4-H members serve as counselors for the classes and activities. Camp staff and Extension Agents supervise the camps.

July 26 – 29, 2018
Copper Falls State Park
This year we will inaugurate what is sure to be a series of the best of Wisconsin’s Natural Resources. 2018 Outpost Camp will be held July 26 – 29, 2018 at Copper Falls State Park! All members grades 7 and up are welcome to join us for 4-H Outpost Camp but space is limited! This special park adventure will include hiking, biking, enjoying beautiful falls and exploring varied cultures of Wisconsin.

Fair Judging Day

Judging Day provides an opportunity for 4-H youth to present their projects and skills acquired during the 4-H year. This face-to-face judging experience provides youth with an chance to reflect on their learning throughout the year and share their experiences with others. These projects are exhibited at the Sheboygan County Fair.
Awards and Recognition Ceremony
Monday, November 26th, 2018 7:00 p.m.
Acuity, Sheboygan, WI
This ceremony celebrates achievements of 4-H members through community service and participation in 4-H events throughout the year. Members earn progressive awards, finishing with the highest award; the Emerald Achievement Award.
Project Awards are given to 4-H members who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in a project they are involved in throughout the year (i.e. Overall Achievement, Natural Sciences and Communications). The Friend of 4-H Award is given out to different stakeholders in 4-H who have provided help with the program throughout the year.
Movie and Pizza Night
You won’t want to miss this great event sponsored by the Sheboygan County Youth Association. There will be pizza, popcorn, games and a couple of great movies…Moana and Wonder Woman! Contact Nancy at the UW-Extension to reserve your spot. The cost is just $5 per family!
Communication Arts Festival
The Sheboygan County Communication Arts Festival combines a showcase of several different talents and skills related to communication. Members can present speeches (like demonstrations or interpretive readings), create posters, artwork and photos, write stories, poetry or essays and many other strategies to share a message!
Each of the Communication Arts categories are judged by community members with expertise in that area. Ribbons and prizes are awarded as deemed appropriate!
Third Tuesday of Each Month 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The Sheboygan County 4-H Ambassadors are a group of youth and adults who promote 4-H in the county. 4-H members with at least one year of 4-H experience are eligible to apply to become an Ambassador. The selection process involves filling out an application form to be reviewed at the UW-Extension.
4-H Youth Association
Third Tuesday of Each Month 7:30-8:30 p.m.
This organization is for any 4-H member 7th grade and up. The group plans social and educational events for its members, and occasionally for younger members. This is a county-wide group and allows youth to make friends and work with youth from throughout the county. The meetings of the group are in addition to participation in a local club.
